CSS6404SS-L

CSS6404SS-L is a 64 Mbit QSPI pSRAM from CascadeTeq. Organized as 8 M × 8 bit, it runs from a single 1.8 V supply and comes in a standard 150 mil SOP-8 package rated for the industrial temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C. The device supports 133 MHz, 32-byte wrap-around burst reads, delivering a sustained bandwidth of 84 MB/s. On-chip self-refresh eliminates the need for an external DRAM controller; standby current is only 250 µA, Half-sleep mode drops to 100 µA, and active power stays ≤7 mA. A simple 4-wire SPI interface (CLK, CE#, SIO[3:0]) handles all high-speed communication, while 50 Ω LVCMOS outputs can drive MCU I/Os directly, simplifying board design. Ideal for low-power, high-reliability cache duties in automotive infotainment, industrial data acquisition, smart wearables, and IoT endpoints.
