CSS25608SQ-N is a 256 Mbit (32 Mbit × 8) Octal SPI (OPI) pSRAM in a QFN-16 package. Operating at 1.8 V, it delivers up to 3.2 Gbps peak bandwidth and is optimized for low-power applications such as smart wearables and edge AI. Key features include a 144 MHz clock and 512-byte page size for 15 ms low-latency access, an industrial temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C with 50 G vibration tolerance, on-chip ECC driving bit-error rates below 10⁻¹², 1.8 µA standby current, and PASR technology that cuts sleep-mode current to 0.8 µA—greatly extending battery life.
In the operation of smart security cameras, CascadeTeq’s pSRAM such as the CSS1604LQ is the key to smooth video and accurate data logging. Its high-speed read/write capability lets the camera store uncompressed video streams in real time. In real-world deployments, like urban street surveillance, it absorbs the continuous data generated by heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic, writing at high frequency to prevent frame loss and deliver clear, uninterrupted footage. Moreover, the device’s wide-temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C guarantees stable performance whether the camera is under scorching summer sun or in frigid winter conditions, ensuring non-stop security recording.
