CSS6408LB-L is a 64 Mbit (8 M×8) OPI pSRAM launched by CascadeTeq. It is powered by a single 3.3 V power supply, comes in a BGA-24 (4 mm×4 mm) package, and operates in the industrial temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C. The chip supports a 200 MHz Octal-SPI interface, with a burst read bandwidth of up to 400 MB/s. It features built-in self-refresh logic, eliminating the need for an external DRAM controller. The standby current is approximately 250 µA, and it drops to as low as 100 µA in Halfsleep mode, with a dynamic power consumption of ≤7 mA. With advantages of high speed, low power consumption, and small size, CSS6408LB-L can be widely used in high-density cache scenarios such as industrial gateways, AIoT terminals, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
Since its founding in 2009 in Hsinchu, Taiwan, CascadeTeq has focused on low-pin-count pSRAM and partnered with PSMC to mass-produce 16–256 Mb devices on a 25 nm DRAM process, certified to ISO 9001 and AEC-Q100. Its SQPI/Octal DDR interface delivers 3.2 Gbps at 200 MHz, on-die self-refresh eliminates external controllers, standby is only 5 µA and active current <5 mA; housed in 2 mm×3 mm USON/QFN, 1.8–3.3 V single supply and –40 °C to +105 °C operation combine high speed, low power and tiny size at competitive cost. Already shipping in smart cameras, industrial gateways, wearables and in-vehicle voice modules, it has become the mainstream cache solution for AIoT and automotive applications, with Mandu Technology providing comprehensive storage solutions and support.
