CSS12808SB-LI is a 128 Mbit (16 M × 8) Octal-SPI (OPI) pSRAM in a 1.8 V BGA-24 package delivering up to 3.2 Gbps peak bandwidth. With a 144 MHz clock and 512-byte page size, it enables 15 ms low-latency data processing for power-sensitive applications such as wearables and edge AI. Industrial-grade reliability spans –40 °C to +85 °C and withstands 50 g vibration, while on-die ECC keeps bit-error rates below 10⁻¹². Standby current is only 1.8 µA, and PASR technology trims sleep current to 0.8 µA to significantly extend battery life.
In the operation of smart security cameras, CascadeTeq’s pSRAM such as the CSS1604LQ is the key to smooth video and accurate data logging. Its high-speed read/write capability lets the camera store uncompressed video streams in real time. In real-world deployments, like urban street surveillance, it absorbs the continuous data generated by heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic, writing at high frequency to prevent frame loss and deliver clear, uninterrupted footage. Moreover, the device’s wide-temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C guarantees stable performance whether the camera is under scorching summer sun or in frigid winter conditions, ensuring non-stop security recording.
