CSS25608SB-NJ is a 256 Mbit (32 Mbit × 8) Octal SPI (OPI) pSRAM housed in a BGS-24 package. Operating from a 1.8 V supply, it delivers up to 3.2 Gbps peak bandwidth and is optimized for power-sensitive applications such as smart wearables and edge AI. The device features a 144 MHz clock and 512-byte page size enabling 15 ms low-latency access, an industrial temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C with 50 G vibration tolerance, on-chip ECC ensuring bit-error rates below 10⁻¹², 1.8 µA standby current, and PASR technology that reduces sleep-mode current to 0.8 µA—significantly extending battery life.
Founded in 2009 in Hsinchu, Taiwan, CascadeTeq is the global leader in low-pin-count standard pSRAM (LPC pSRAM). Leveraging a strategic 25 nm DRAM alliance with PSMC, the company delivers a 16–256 Mb portfolio across SPI, QSPI and Octal-DDR interfaces that runs up to 3.2 Gbps at 200 MHz. On-die self-refresh eliminates external controllers, cuts standby current to 5 µA and keeps active draw below 5 mA, while 2 mm×3 mm USON-8 (and larger QFN/BGA) packages and single 1.8–3.3 V supply cover –40 °C to +105 °C, meeting AEC-Q100 Grade 2 for automotive use. Already shipping in smart cameras, industrial gateways, wearables, e-bike dashboards and in-vehicle voice modules, CascadeTeq is supported in mainland China by Mandu Technology, which provides rapid samples, technical support and custom storage solutions to shorten customers’ development cycles.
