LMR33630ADDA, a 3 A synchronous SIMPLE SWITCHER® step-down regulator from Texas Instruments, accepts 3.8 V–36 V inputs, switches at a fixed 400 kHz and comes in a thermally enhanced HSOIC-8. Integrating high-/low-side MOSFETs, it peaks at 95 % efficiency, drops to 25 µA in PFM at light loads, and provides soft-start, cycle-by-cycle current limit, thermal shutdown, UVLO and a power-good flag while supporting 100 % duty. Rated –40 °C to +125 °C junction and AEC-Q100 Grade 1, it suits automotive, industrial and battery-powered systems sensitive to EMI and power loss.
