MSTM's Breakthrough in MEMS Technology

The oscillators also feature high precision stability of ±10ppm, the ability to withstand 60,000g of shock, and a typical power consumption of only 4mA with a supply voltage range of 1.62V to 3.63V. With a startup time of less than 5 milliseconds, they can respond quickly. Additionally, they are fully compatible with LVCMOS and HCMOS output standards, offer a variety of packaging options, and ensure stable operation within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. These features make the products stand out in multiple market segments, including security, video transmission, drones, robots, laptops, MBB, GPON/EPON, PCs/servers, telecommunications equipment, automotive electronics, optical modules, and IoT terminals, providing reliable, efficient, and flexible clock solutions for electronic devices.

In addition to MEMS oscillators, MSTM has also launched the MST1602, a DC power switch IC with a low-resistance MOSFET switch network that can provide optional VCC and VPP voltages for a single CardBus or PC card host socket. The MST1602 features low standby current (maximum 11µA), low RDS(ON) for the 3.3V switch, and operates without 5V and 12V power supplies. This IC complies with the PCMCIA 3V/5V switching standard, comes in a compact 16-pin QSOP package, and offers soft switching characteristics to ensure output current limiting and rise/fall times that meet PCMCIA requirements. It also includes thermal overload protection, accurate current limiting, overcurrent fault flag output, and undervoltage lockout functions to enhance reliability. The MST1602 supports CMOS/TTL logic interfaces and can withstand logic input levels higher than the positive supply rail, making it very suitable for electronic devices that require efficient power management, especially in 3.3V power switch applications for fast 32-bit CardBus.

The MST1602 is suitable for a variety of electronic devices, including internal card slot power management in smartphones and tablets, power stability in home appliances such as smart TVs and DVD players, PLCs, sensors, and industrial robots in industrial control systems, in-vehicle entertainment systems and engine control systems in automotive electronics, medical devices such as ECG machines, ultrasound equipment, and medical imaging processing devices, and communication devices such as communication modules, optoelectronic communication modules, base stations, and routers. Its low standby current, low RDS(ON) 3.3V switch, soft switching action, overcurrent protection, and thermal overload protection ensure the stability and reliability of devices in various environments.
