Puya Semiconductor: Dual Optimization of Power Consumption and Performance

Puya Semiconductor, as a leading enterprise in the field of non-volatile memory, has achieved technological iteration from 55nm to 40nm through the adoption of a dual-process architecture (SONOS and ETOX), significantly enhancing the power consumption, stability, and compatibility of its products. The company's technological advancements, especially in the mid-to-low capacity range, have achieved dual optimization of cost and power consumption through the SONOS process, making its products stand out in the industry for low power consumption, high reliability, and fast erase and read capabilities.

Puya's NOR Flash products support a wide voltage range (1.65V-3.6V) and are available in various packaging options such as SOP8, USON8, WSON8, TSSOP8, WLCSP, and KGD (Known Good Die) suitable for packaging with main control chips, catering to diverse scenario requirements. A series of Puya's products have passed the AEC-Q100 certification, making them suitable for vehicle navigation and central control entertainment systems, highlighting Puya's technical expertise and market reputation in the automotive electronics field.

Puya's storage product line has expanded from 512Kbit to 128Mbit, covering the entire series of capacities, and has mass-produced products ranging from 4Mbit to 128Mbit using the 40nm process, demonstrating its leading position in the industry. Puya Semiconductor has launched its new generation of SPI NOR Flash, characterized by ultra-low voltage and ultra-low power consumption, while supporting 1.1V power systems and a wide voltage range. In the field of non-volatile memory, Puya has achieved a write/erase life of 100,000 cycles and a data retention period of 20 years with its new products based on the 40nm SONOS process, while also offering 104MHz STR quad-line and 80MHz DTR quad-line clock frequencies, which helps it to solidify a more robust position in market competition.

The P25Q64H-QVH, a 64M-bit SPI NOR Flash memory chip produced by Puya Semiconductor, operates within a working voltage range of 2.3V to 3.60V and an industrial temperature range of (-40°C to 85°C). It supports the SPI interface, is compatible with Mode 0 and Mode 3, and supports single SPI, dual SPI, quad SPI, and QPI operations. The P25Q64H-QVH chip is designed with 256-byte page programming and erasing, as well as 4K-byte sector erasing and 32K/64K-byte block erasing capabilities, in addition to the ability to perform full chip erasing, demonstrating its efficiency in data storage. The chip features hardware-locked protection, including 3 1024-byte OTP security registers for one-time programming, a 128-bit unique device ID, and fast programming and erasing performance. It boasts ultra-low power consumption characteristics, with a deep power-down current of 1.0uA, a standby current of 18uA, an active read current of 2.5mA at 33MHz, and an active programming or erasing current of 5.0mA. For consumer electronics, the P25Q64H-QVH chip is an ideal choice, as it not only ensures a 20-year data retention but can also withstand 100,000 programming/erasing cycles, meeting the demands for high-speed data access and large-capacity storage.
