Puya P25Q80L-WXH Automotive Grade NOR Flash Technology

Puya Semiconductor's NOR Flash products for the automotive electronics field have been certified by AEC-Q100 and are widely recognized by the industry. These automotive-grade products are extensively used in key systems such as in-vehicle navigation, central control entertainment, body cameras, and smart cockpits. In terms of technology, products below 128Mb use the SONOS process, while those above 128Mb employ the ETOX process, comprehensively covering the capacity requirements of NOR Flash.

The P25Q80L-WXH chip is a high-performance and reliable 8Mb SPI NOR Flash memory launched by Puya Semiconductor. Designed specifically for consumer electronics applications, it supports mapping program code to RAM for execution and offers a flexible erase architecture with a page erase granularity of 256 bytes, optimizing storage efficiency. The chip includes 3 x 512-byte OTP (One-Time Programmable) security registers, suitable for storing key information such as device serial numbers and electronic serial numbers, enhancing data security.

Technically, the P25Q80L-WXH chip has a wide operating voltage range of 1.65V to 2.0V and ultra-low power consumption characteristics, with a current of 0.1μA in deep power-down mode, 9μA in standby mode, 1.0mA (33MHz) during active read, and 2.0mA during active programming or erasing. It also has a programming/erase cycle of 100K times and a data retention period of 20 years, ensuring data stability and long-term reliability. Additionally, the chip can operate stably in a temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃, with a storage temperature range of -65℃ to +150℃, adapting to variable environments.

The P25Q80L-WXH chip has a wide range of applications, suitable not only for battery-powered portable devices such as Bluetooth earphones but also for space-constrained applications like Touch and Display Driver Integration (TDDI) and AMOLED screens. Moreover, its high reliability and data retention make it equally suitable for industrial control applications. The chip supports standard SPI, dual SPI, and quad SPI operation modes, with a maximum clock frequency of 33MHz, and fast programming and erasing speeds (page programming time of 2ms, page erase time of 8ms) further enhance its performance advantages. Available in packages such as SOP8 and USON8, it provides flexibility for different design needs, establishing the P25Q80L-WXH as a versatile and efficient storage solution for multiple scenarios.
